The Coyotes will head up north to Monterey and San Francisco for the next two stops for the Urban Adventure Club.
The Urban Adventure Club is a branch of CSUSB Recreation and Wellness and the Outdoor Club focused on the exploration and enjoyment of urban destinations.
The San Francisco trip is scheduled for May 27 to May 30.
“Highlights include: cable car rides, Fisherman’s Warf, Pier 39, biking over the golden gate bridge, Alcatraz Island, hiking in Muir Woods and more,” boasted the Adventure Guide.
According to historychannel.com, “the federal prison on Alcatraz Island in the chilly waters of California’s San Francisco Bay housed some of America’s most difficult and dangerous felons during its years of operation from 1934 to 1963.”
San Francisco, and especially Fisherman’s Warf, is known for fresh seafood available straight from the bay.
San Francisco is also a highly notable shopping location.
Ferry Plaza Flea Market, Embarcadero Farmers Market, San Francisco Flower-mart and the Alemany Flea Market are all massive swap meet and street fair type gatherings.
The cost of the trip is $255 for students and SRWC members. The cost for faculty, staff and alumni association members is $285.
The cost of this trip for affiliates is $300 and for general members of the community it is $510.

Monterey will be the final Urban Adventure trip of this quarter. This trip is scheduled for July 8 through 10.
According to the Adventure Guide, the Monterey Urban Adventure Trip will combine the urban and the rural.
Kayaking will take place in Monterey Bay.
According to the adventure guide, “we will kayak one day as well as enjoy the marine life around the bay and in the evening we will have a chance to hit the town and see what the nightlife has to offer.”
Monterey Bay is home to a coastline full of opportunities for discovery and exploration, miles of welcoming beaches, hiking and cycling trails are just minutes apart. Monterey Bay is part of the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary, the water is home to a rich variety of marine life.
Monterey is home to the world famous Cannery Row.

Bike riding on the beach will start the second day, with lunch and beautiful views accompanying the ride.
The Adventure Guide stated, “on this trip we will enjoy the wind along the coast, great food [and] Urban night life as well as meeting new people and having fun.”
