The Recreation Center on campus at CSUSB offers many exercise options to alleviate the side effects of being a student. Exercise is recommended in order to maintain a heathy lifestyle, not only to reduce stress. According to the Mayo Clinic, exercise has many positive effects, a few of which include improving ones mood and boosting energy. The Student Recreation and Fitness Center provides students with fun group exercise classes with instructors that keep students motivated. Rec Sports motivates students to live healthy lifestyles
By Jocelyn Claudette Colbert |Staff Writer| Many Yotes know about the Student Recreation and Fitness Center on campus, but few know about the fabulous classes being offered there. There are so many awesome Group X exercise classes, I had to check out a few. From Hip Hop to Zumba, Butts and Gutts and even Jiu Jitsu, there’s something for everybody this fall. Two new classes have been added to the fall line up: The Cycle Fit and Yogilates classes. I stopped by the two classes to see what they’re all about.
