Neighbors Film Review

May 16, 2014 by Archived posts Leave a Comment

By Taylor Vermillion | Staff Writer | The comedic stylings of Seth Rogen combined with the frat-boy mentality of Zac Efron make for the epic summer movie “Neighbors.” The duo join forces with other A-list celebrities, including Rose Byrne, famous for her role in “Bridesmaids,” and Dave Franco, the younger brother of megastar James Franco. That Awkward Moment is a romantic comedy written and directed by Tom Gormican and developed by What If It Barks Films. The film, formally known as Are We Officially Dating? was featured in 2010’s Hollywood Black List as one of the top best un-produced screenplays. March 13, 2012 by Archived posts 3 Comments

By Kimberly Rosales |Staff Writer| A tiny, slightly annoying but endearing orange creature has taken over the big screen. “The Lorax,” which opened on March 2, is a musical comedy-drama which takes the audience into the whimsical world of Ted Wiggins, voiced by Zac Efron, an optimistic 12-year-old boy who lives in the town of “Thneed-ville,” a walled in city that is completely artificial, lacking any form of nature that is not made of plastic or other man-made materials. To win over the affections of the girls of his dreams, Audrey (Taylor Swift), Ted sets out to find the one thing she dreams of seeing, a real live tree. With the help of his eccentric grandmother (Betty White), … [Read more...] about “The Lorax” is enjoyable, if preachy
