The event was held at the John M. Pfau Library on the campus of California State University San Bernardino, in room PL-4005. The presentation was led by Maria Barragan, coordinator of the DREAMers Resource and Success Center, and Yadira Ortiz, the EOP Admissions Counselor. Grad student completes Coyote 2014-2015 roster
By Javier Rodriguez |Staff Writer| Twenty-three-year-old Gilbert Parga, one of CSUSB's two Division I transfers, hails from Pico Rivera, California. He attended Cathedral High School in Downtown Los Angeles and graduated from Citrus College in 2012. At the time, he was one of the top junior college recruits in the state. After transferring to Long Island University of Brooklyn, New York, Parga a shooting guard, suffered multiple injuries and was ruled ineligible for 2012-2013 and was forced to red shirt for the season. He ended the season averaging seven and a half points per game, three rebounds and one assist. Volleyball goes for nationals
By Javier Rodriguez |Staff Writer| The Coyote women’s volleyball team swept the Cal State Stanislaus Warriors and Chico State Wildcats during the Halloween weekend. As the team headed up North to compete, they knew regionals were in the near future. There were many positive vibes following the team from friends and family. In the spirit of Halloween, Outside Hitter Ashley Solis’ parents put together a scarecrow family, consisting of a picture of the team’s three coaches inserted onto the scarecrows: Kim Cherniss, Danny Scott, and Mike Gutierrez.
