Ramsey played an important role this season, being the team's starting point guard. She averaged 2.5 steals and 3.2 assists, leading the team in both categories. By Yera Nanan |Staff Writer| Senior Night for the Yotes' featured the honoring of three key senior players: point guard Everett Turner, forwards Ramon Eaton and Shawn Joseph. As well as a close two-point loss to Cal State Dominguez Hills, 75-73. Turner, Eaton and forward Dorian Butler were the highlights of the game with double-digit scoring performances. This game also highlighted a consistent problem throughout the team's season: lack of chemistry with little veteran support. They play to win a championship, as well as bragging rights among peers. When intramurals were first introduced to CSUSB, it was a rough experience for both the students and faculty because of how the system was established Teams would arrive for games without knowing their opponents. Winter and spring athletic facilities back in use
By Yera Nanan |Staff Writer| Though many of our winter and spring sports are outdoor sports and aren't played on school grounds, the fields we use have a unique history of their own. The baseball team uses Fiscalini Field for practice and home games. The 3,500 capacity field is located only 15 minutes away from CSUSB, right off of East Highland Avenue. Fiscalini Field was first built in 1934 and originally named after Fredrick Thomas Perris, who helped construct the early stages of the city as a railroad developer. This Division II athletic program is fairly new to CSUSB being just its third year, yet features some terrific athletes. Just last year, second year runner Sinclair Watson was one of the fastest freshmen in the conference, placing seventh in the 100 meter dash at the CCAA last year with a time of 12.48. After a string of successful projects, Migos released their new album Culture Jan. 27. Men’s basketball season underway

They are one the most decorated sports franchises at the university with three NCAA regional titles, nine CCAA titles and 13 NCAA appearances. Their most recent titles in both the NCAA regional and CCAA came in the 2014 season. "We're one of the most successful programs in the CCAA for the last 20 years," said Head Coach Jeff Oliver.
