The virus is not harmful to humans, but is having a heavy effect on the pork industry where numbers are estimated to be in the millions of pigs lost to the virus. Now Obama is promising the troops a lot more than just returning home; he is promising the support that the veterans and troops deserve. I love the fact that Obama is willing to give service men and women more support because our nation hasn’t really been giving veterans the respect that they deserve. I guess you can say that the plan he announced during his presidential campaign to bring America’s troops home is finally coming to fruition as he stated that the troops will be back for the holidays. However, later on in his speech he contradicted his earlier statement by saying that half of the remaining troops will be brought home at the end of the year while the rest will soon follow in the coming months.
