Disney Tourist Guide

May 29, 2019 by marlyn ramirez 301 Comments

The happiest place on earth is becoming the most expensive place on earth. As a Disney fanatic and annual pass holder I have visited three Disney resorts in the last three years: Disneyland, Walt Disney World, and Disney Paris. I have a few tips and tricks on how to make it happen and get around to seeing the most during your stay.   How to afford it: It’s not a surprise that Disney resorts are raising their prices every year due to new attractions, crowd increase, and resort expansions. G-Eazy lights up the Shrine

February 16, 2016 by Archived posts 162 Comments

By Estefania Torres | Staff Writer| G-Eazy engaged the crowd of screaming fans at the Shrine Auditorium sporting his signature comb-over, dressed from head to toe in black, and a skull bandanna covering half of his face. Walking into the designated press area I was immediately drawn to the inventive stage. There was a very dark, urban feel to his stage setup. A grungy inspired layout displayed a sign that read Motel, a strip club and a bar with neon lights flashing the words "The Saint," and "Girls, Girls, Girls." This highly anticipated five month world tour was announced after the release of his new album "When It's Dark Out." Selling out almost every show, the young … [Read more...] about G-Eazy lights up the Shrine

May 10, 2013 by Archived posts 159 Comments

By Shannon Luster |Staff Writer| She and Him returned with a 14-song compilation of catchy and foot-tapping good tunes in their third album Volume 3, recently released on May 14. Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward make up the band, which has become wildly popular, especially in the independent music circuit. The band’s music is an influence from 1960s bands like The Beach Boys, well known for their breakthrough, psychedelic album, Pet Sounds, in 1966, including popular songs like “Good Vibrations.” She and Him’s vintage fashion sense also reflects their music, both a throwback to an earlier era, but with a modern twist.
