There were four activities held during Japan Day, which were a Japanese Taiko drum performance, Japanese culture booths, Japanese tea time and a Kabuki lecture and demonstration. The lecturer of the Department of World Languages and Literature Makiko Amaya, said they invited a professional Taiko performer from Los Angeles and had over 100 people attend. Dripp Coffe Bar drops it like it’s hot

The eatery is known for their European style coffees and teas, but also specialize in pastries and ice cream sandwiches. Dripp is an up-and-coming franchise, with currently only one location in Chino Hills, but the company is expanding and will open their next location in Fullerton. Not only had I heard fellow Coyotes talk about how delicious Dripp was, but my coworkers also expressed their love for their coffee. N7, which also serves as a café and bakery, has its first and only location in Victoria Gardens on Kew Ave. With modern decorations, book cases, and fine art displayed on the wall, the founders of N7 Creamery, Michael Mascaro, Brett Bingaman, and Andrew Cox intended for their customers to experience something created from the ground up. Caution too much caffeine is not a good thing

We are too dependent on caffeine and it is not as beneficial to us as we think. According to the Mayo Clinic, taking in 200 to 300 milligrams of caffeine equivalent to about two to four cups of coffee a day is not harmful. Christine Weinkauff, a psychology professor on campus, is an avid coffee drinker but said, “In life, moderation is key. To think curing your issues can be done by taking a simple pill is an antiquated process. Have a headache? Can’t sleep? Anxiety ridden? Your kid is too hyper? There’s a pill for all of that.
