Snoop Dogg Album Review “Bush”

By Jose Alvarez | Staff Witter | After the failed attempt of changing his persona to Snoop Lion a couple years back, Snoop Dogg is back releasing his new album "Bush," on May 8, with Pharrell Williams as his main producer. With Mark Ronson's hit single "Uptown Funk," Kendrick Lamar's new album "To Pimp A Butterfly," and now Snoop Dogg's new album "Bush," it seems like funk is making a comeback. There are all sorts of big names featured on this album, ranging from Pharrell Williams to Stevie Wonder, T.I., Rick Ross, and even Gwen Stefani. Coachella Weekend 2: Three days in a musical oasis

By Eric Brown |Chronicle Contributor| Southern California's premiere music festival was the "same flavor, twice the fun" on the weekends of April 13-15 and April 20-22 in the Coachella Valley. Musically the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival had the same line-up, however completely different festivals ensued. The first week was an uncharacteristically rainy and cold festival, while the second weekend experienced the normal heat the festival is known for, with temperatures breaking triple digits.
