London gets bloody gory
By Andrea Jimenez | Staff Writer | "London Has Fallen" was not my favorite film, but I cannot say that it did not keep me in suspense, while shedding a couple tears as my deepest thoughts went to the lives lost in the many terrorist attacks that have impacted our lives and made history rise. Following the mysterious death of the British prime minister, the world's leaders gathered in London to pay their respects. Before they kneel down and say their last goodbye, the city of lights quickly arose in massive explosions, becoming the city of gore. Decapitation seemed to be the main theme in this action filled sequel, as terrorists had no mercy on anyone, leaving puddles of flesh and … [Read more...] about London gets bloody gory

Skittles are suspicious?
By Shanieka Perrier |Staff Writer| What is so suspicious about iced tea and a bag of skittles? A 17-year-old boy holding only those items and wearing a “hoodie” was shot and killed ion Feb. 26 in Sanford, Florida. Trayvon Martin was shot by George Zimmerman after he saw the boy walking around in his neighborhood and found him “suspicious.” I believe that Zimmerman brought this situation upon himself. According to the LA Times, he was instructed to go home and let the police handle the situation. In my opinion he acted purely on suspicion and ignored the police, as though he was above the law. I have a problem with Zimmerman never initially being arrested. There was a dead body … [Read more...] about Skittles are suspicious?
