Since signing on to Red Bull Records the band has toured the country four times and landed an opening gig for Blink-182. The four band mates are young, easy-going, extremely talented, and super sarcastic. Michael Johnson, Jeff Laliberte, Shelby Archer, and Paul Laliberte formed the band in 2011 and skyrocketed to success. Red Bull unveils new art at Los Globos
By Lily Perez |Staff Writer| Red Bull Latagrafica was first launched in 2012 to showcase artists’ talent within the Southern California community and giving them a broader medium to display their artwork. The Red Bull program is back as Latagrafica Edicion II, which will feature ten L.A. artists each painting an individual mural over the course of ten months. In October a 12 oz. Red Bull can will be released with one of the selected artist’s graphics on it. Native American artist Renelle White Buffalo unveiled her mural at club Los Globos on Sunset Blvd. in LA on Feb.15 making it the second mural to be unveiled in the series. Red Bull gives soccer players wings during on-campus tournament
By Jessica Bracamontes |Staff Writer| CSUSB students put on their soccer gear to participate in the Red Bull Kick-off Soccer Tournament on May 2 in front of the John M. Pfau Library lawn. The soccer tournament had eight teams consisting of four players each. The games were fifteen minutes long, and consisted of single elimination rounds with one referee officiating. The winning team was awarded an exclusive trip to see the New York Red Bulls soccer game in Los Angeles on May 5. The tournament was free and open to all CSUSB students. Red Bull presented a movie about snowboarding called the Art of Flight. The Associated Students Incorporated (ASI) of California State University, San Bernardino hosted the event. The event was from 7PM to 9PM in the Student Union Theatre. Students arrived and had the choice between a variety of sub-sandwiches. For such a feat, Parking Lot H at CSUSB was turned into an urban style street soccer tournament. The tournament started at 6:00 p.m. this past Wednesday, May 4. There were eight teams competing for tickets to the LA Galaxy vs. NY Red Bulls game at the Home Depot Center on, scheduled for Saturday, May 7.
