By Abel Arriola |Staff Writer| It was 3:30 p.m. as I started seeing the NOS event center workers leading us to the parking lot; I couldn't hold in the excitement, I was dying to park my car and get to the entrance. Thousands of people flooded the streets as I ran towards the opening. While many people were out trick-or-treating, attending costume parties and enjoying Halloween on a Saturday night, I had the chance to be a part of Escape: Psycho Circus. From bikinis, to pasties, Batman, The Joker, Mario and Luigi, bravery (because of the pasties) and creativity, the list of costumes does not stop. One costume that stood out to me was a guy that came with a group of girls; he … [Read more...] about The Good Side of Escape: PSYCHO CIRCUS

Through a series of reports in news outlets such as the San Bernardino Sun, it is inferred that the rave event was forced out of the National Orange Show Events Center due to drug use concerns and noise levels. According to the Sun, Police Chief Robert Handy said, "We believe that there are too many adverse effects in the community from the rave events and these concerns are not new to the promoter." "In September, several police … [Read more...] about Noise and drugs move rave promoters out of Orange Show
Steph Paniagua |Staff Writer| So I knew this weekend was over when I woke up from my late afternoon nap today and realized that I still had homework to do. :/ However, this weekend was quite eventful. As usual since Halloween is Monday, there were a lot of parties going on (which I’m sure many of you attended at least one). But that wasn’t the main highlight of my weekend. It was actually Escape 2011. If you don’t know, Escape is a rave and actually had its first coming out show last night at the Orange Show Event Center in San Bernardino. Escape is the first rave I have ever attended. All of my friend’s told me that I was going to have the time of my life. They told me the … [Read more...] about Theme of the weekend…
