Imagine a world where traveling and getting an education is a combo deal. The Center of Global Management (CGM) is in Jack H. Six out of eighteen propositions to vote for

By Erika Aguilar  |Staff Writer| Six out of eighteen California propositions are due to affect the community, students, and schools near San Bernardino in the upcoming November election. Proposition (Prop.) 51 relates to providing bonds for schools. It would allow California to borrow $9 billion in bonds and thus the money would go to K-12 public schools and community colleges for improvement in overall education, according to BALLOTPEDIA. CSUSB introduces new doctoral program

In earning a Doctorate in Educational Leadership, career opportunities from different areas ranging from: Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade school and district administration, Counseling, Social Work, Health Education and Educational Policy making to Community College Administrators/ Teachers. Community cuts

By Hector Gama |Staff Writer|   The Obama Administration has proposed new budget cuts that will leave the poor pleading for help. On February 14, 2011, the President released his FY 2012 Budget which contained a 50% cut to Community Services Block Grant (CSBG), the core funding for community action agencies. In addition to this, as much as 49% may be cut from the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), the primary funding for low income home heating. There are also other proposed cuts that would affect the programs and services we provide to San Bernardino County’s most vulnerable residents.
