With distant learning continuing in the Spring semester, Pfau Library finds ways to further meet the campus community's needs for resources in the virtual space. Cesar Caballero, Dean of Pfau Library, said, “As soon as the pandemic hit and the campus had to pivot to an online mode, the library acquired as much digitized library content (e-books, e-textbooks, etc.) as we could afford since print copies of books were not initially available. That’s the reason we started planning on the retrieval service, which was implemented this semester." CSUSB makes resources more accessible during virtual learning
Student necessities can be expensive, and with the cost of academic resources increasing, CSUSB has found a way to allow its students to access free or discounted technological services. Information Technology Services (ITS) has collaborated with John M. Schlesselman-Tarango graduated from Drake University with a bachelor’s in Sociology and Anthropology; completed a master’s in social science from University of Colorado, Denver; and also master’s of library and information science from University of Denver. Plans to build a new parking lot, renovation of the Pfau Library, and the expansion of the Santos Manuel Student Union (SMSU) are welcomed by many at CSUSB. 3D printer available to CSUSB students

The lab is open to all CSUSB students and offers virtual reality headsets, computer numerical controlled milling, hardware electronic kits. “The seed was growing in my mind for the past year to develop such a lab. By Marion Gil |News Editor| A wanted poster of a suspect who is allegedly responsible for sexual assault and attempted kidnapping near CSUSB's Pfau Library was e-mailed to students, faculty, and staff on Wednesday, March 11. The sexual assault occurred on Wednesday, March 4 in a stairwell at the Pfau Library. The suspect grabbed the victim and kissed her several times on the face, then the victim kicked the suspect in the groin, causing him to flee, according to University Police. The victim was able to resist the suspect, who fled the scene. Vice President for Administration and Finance, Douglas R.
