Director Stacey Fraser, of the CSUSB Opera Theatre, presented Kurt Weill and Bertolt Brecht’s sung ballet, which struck a dramatic punch amongst the audience with their invoking stage presence. One individual defies all odds and becomes the first African American player in Major League Baseball. This is the story of Jack Roosevelt Robinson, written and directed by CSUSB’s very own Carol Damgen. I had the opportunity to interview Damgen and ask about her inspiration to create this tale about courage. Chamber Orchestra enthralls CSUSB

The director of Chamber Orchestra, Michele Brosseau-Tacchia has created a multi-level orchestrated program which gives young musicians from elementary, middle and high school the opportunity to perform at a collegiate level. “Chronicles of Narnia” at the California Theatre
By Manal Museitef |Staff Writer| The adventurous story of "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" will be showing at the California Theatre of the Performing Arts on May 25. Promoters of the event distributed their first press release two weeks ago for the new musical installment and has since caused a frenzy within the followers of the seven-book series. The author of the series, C.S. Lewis, is known for his work on this high fantasy novel in which he was inspired by Greek Mythology and traditional Christian themes. Local improv act leaves Coyotes howling

Redlands-based improv group Sha’Dynasty paid a visit to the campus on April 20 and 21 to dish out some comedy goodness to a receptive crowd.
