Osher Adult Re-Entry Center

Letters to North Park

May 8, 2017 by Janet Curiel 35 Comments

By Janet Curiel |Staff Writer| Students Cassandra Butcher, Asia Pham and Connor Dickson walked with arms full, headed toward North Park Elementary April 28. The students came as representatives of the Pan-African Student Success Center, Adult Re-Entry Center and Associated Students Incorporated (ASI), to deliver a variety of gifts for the students, faculty, and staff who are still recovering from the tragedy that struck April 10. After CSUSB was put on lockdown and hearing about the incident that was going on, Butcher didn't hesitate to take action. "I was just sitting at my desk ... what can I do? Oh, I can write them a letter, and then I was like oh wait, we could write … [Read more...] about Letters to North Park

Start saving now for a more comfortable future

February 6, 2014 by Archived posts 57 Comments

By Diana Ramos |Staff Writer| Students tend not to worry about saving their money until the last possible minute, usually when they have graduated and already have a career. On Tuesday, Jan. 30 the Osher Adult Re-entry Center hosted a lecture on financing your future. Rodriguez used a wedding as an example to explain how much time … [Read more...] about Start saving now for a more comfortable future

On Oct. 14, the Indianapolis Colts took on the San Diego Chargers. Veterans Memorial Day tribute

May 25, 2012 by Archived posts

By Desirae Contreras |Staff Writer| In their honor, CSUSB acknowledged our veterans from May 18-25 in preparation of Memorial Day weekend. On May 25, the Veterans Success Center (VSC) celebrated their grand opening ribbon-cutting ceremony behind the flag poles located in front of campus. “The ceremony is very important because with the death of our former Coyote, Lt. Alejo Thompson, we have [numbers] of service members in harm’s way and we want them to know that the Coyote family is thinking about them and that we do hope for [their] speedy returns and that they’re always acknowledged here by the CSUSB family,” said Veterans Success Center coordinator, Marci Daniels. The ceremony … [Read more...] about Veterans Memorial Day tribute
