Whitney Alvarez | Staff Writer | I can honestly say, this was my first rave and probably my last one. Escape is an electronic dance music festival (rave) organized by Insomniac Events held right here in our backyard at the National Orange Show Event Center in San Bernardino. The theme for this year was Escape: Psycho Circus. It included amusement rides, haunted houses, the roaming dead, go go dancers and more. Local rave moves from San Bernardino to Devore

By Suu Elen Manzano |Staff Writer| The rave show Beyond Wonderland should not have been moved from the National Orange Show (NOS) Events Center in San Bernardino. The event will be held at the San Manuel Amphitheater located in Devore. A similar event hosted by Insomniac Inc., generated millions. With so much money that can be generated, the city should really reconsider moving this event. “Nocturnal Wonderland 2011 generated $11.7 million in direct expenditures in San Bernardino County, after adjustment,” stated Beacon Economics LLC. Paid Dues Festival saturates San Bernardino

By Matthew Bramlett |Arts & Entertainment Editor| Hordes of hip-hop heads of all shapes and sizes descended on the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino for the seventh annual Paid Dues Festival on April 7. The day-long event showcased the finest acts in independent hip-hop, from underground acts such as K. Flay and Rah Digga to established groups such as Hieroglyphics and Dipset.
