Advising services guides student career choices through the pandemic

The advising and academic department continues to find ways to keep students motivated by meeting and assisting students online. According to Matt Markin, the Academic Advisor and Graduation Pledge Coordinator for Undergraduate Studies, the department's mission is simple. Markin shared, "The mission statement of Advising and Academic Services is that we provide guidance to undergraduate students throughout their academic journey by assisting them in making informed decisions that support their academic, personal, and career goals." Here at CSUSB, the Student Recreation and Fitness Center (Rec Center) offers students a chance to get in shape with the aid of a personal trainer. With the accumulation of close to 4,000 followers in only two months, SLP upholds three values that will keep you on a consistent track to success: education, a good time, and fitness. Kinesiology students set to publish new cookbook

Students from Kinesiology 471 can help you maintain a healthy diet and cheat day with the release of their new cookbook, "ChEAT Day." Students Prince Padilla, Jeffrey Dominguez-Fajardo, Cassandra Karr and Raquel Kinnally have created a cookbook dedicated to cheat meals that athletes have developed in order to keep on track, but also give themselves a break from their strict diets.
