World of Dance: SMSU hosts night of diversity
By Lupe Perez |Staff Writer| Cross Cultural Center presented World of Dance, a showcase of diverse dance styles including hip hop, ballet folklórico, and traditional Filipino folk dance. The SMSU held approximately 60 people including students and members of the community coming to support. "I really enjoyed World of Dance, I usually don't go to school events but after experiencing this I would love to come to another," said student Lizbeth Flores. The meaning behind a tattoo can range from something near and dear, or something as simple as an impulse. Many people feel their tattoos represent their background and life as a whole. These music celebrations range in different genres like Indie, Country, and Rap. Festival season is a great way to meet and experience artists that are unlikely to be heard of otherwise.
