In recent years, public trust on government officials as well as business, media and NGOs institutions in the United States has steadily declined, according to the Edelman Trust Barometer. The Department of Public Administration at CSUSB conducted "The Abdication of Truth and the Decline of Public Trust" forum at the Santos Manuel Student Union Theater with Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Lowell Bergman as a guest speaker. Many have depicted their own perspectives on the true meaning of leadership. In other words, leadership is viewed differently in many aspects. By Katherine Valadez |Staff Writer| The first and only doctorate program at CSUSB will host a series of information sessions in January and February at both the main campus and in Palm Desert. “CSUSB has been chosen has one of the first state universities in California to offer the Doctor of Education Degree in Educational Leadership,” according to the College of Education’s website. Information sessions at the main campus will be held on Jan. 25 and Feb. 29 in the atrium of the College of Education building.
