Let's Talk About Sex! was hosted by the Santos Manuel Student Union (SMSU) Cross Cultural Center, Student Health Center (SHC), and Psychology Counseling Center. Judi Cruz, Health Education Assistant at the SHC, hosted the event. "We're not encouraging people to be sexually active, and were not discouraging them," said Cruz. By Jazmin Jett |Staff Writer| As students, we enter college with an ideal experience in mind and are often disappointed that attending school slowly but surely becomes a mechanical attempt at a degree. Our only relief is found in our friends, extra-curricular activities, memories created and most importantly our professors. I personally enjoy learning. I wouldn’t be consciously putting myself in debt if I didn’t. I find it refreshing to first walk into a class and be greeted by a professor with at least a sense of humor. Alumnus Judi Cruz is the Coordinator for the Pride Center and Osher Adult Re-Entry Center and she will be leaving CSUSB. Cruz received her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies and her Master of Arts in Educational Counseling and Guidance from CSUSB. She teaches freshmen seminars in the fall, and is known to direct students in the proper educational direction. On May 12, Cruz won five awards at the 4th Annual Veterans Appreciation Reception.
