June 9, 2016 by Archived posts Leave a Comment

Author Lewis Carroll brought these wonderful characters "alive" in his beloved stories, trying to live up to such a successful story is not always easy. Bobin did well with this sequel keeping the madness alive and did a commendable job of making sure that "Through the Looking Glass" kept the "wonder" we came to love from the first film. The same original cast was used besides a new character played by Sacha Baron Cohen known as "Time." Time had a long and significant role in the movie … [Read more...] about “Alice Through the Looking Glass”

By Tiffany Batson |Staff Writer| Fans that were expecting Johnny Depp’s “gonzo journalism” flair may be disappointed with The Rum Diary.  The film, as well as Depp’s reprisal role as a Hunter S. Thompson character, wasn’t as good or as entertaining as Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Although the film has a slow pace and the run time is a little long, it still keeps your attention. Rango camouflages rating guidelines

March 17, 2011 by Archived posts Leave a Comment

By Grace Garner |Staff Writer| Moviegoers should expect dry humor from a film set in such an arid desert. However, they may be surprised by Paramount Pictures latest effort starring  Johnny Depp’s voice acting. “Rango,” released March 4, features always-quirky Johnny Depp as a domestic chameleon on a quest to find himself. From the get-go, you understand “Rango” is going to be more of a “grown-up movie” than you thought. Especially … [Read more...] about Rango camouflages rating guidelines
