By Andrea Jimenez |Staff Writer| MC Hammer releases 2Pac collab MC Hammer finally shares music from his collaboration with the one and only 2Pac on Feb. 23. 20 years after his death, 2Pac continues to impact fans with great new music, reminiscing on simpler times, and "Too Tight" reminds fans why 2Pac's music should be kept alive. It is rumored that MC Hammer's ghost album features more tracks in collaboration with 2Pac, but further details are yet to be released. Hall of Fame coach honored

By Luis Petty |Staff Writer| NBA Hall of Famer Jack T. Ramsay, a respected coach and commentator,died at 89 after fighting different forms of cancer. After being a commentator for the Philadelphia 76ers and the Miami Heat, he eventually went to work for ESPN. Last year Ramsey resigned from ESPN due to growing health concerns brought on by his cancer diagnosis. Ramsay was born Feb. 21,1925 in Milford, Conn. and he later moved to Philadelphia with his parents. He graduated from Upper Darby High School where he was inducted to the school's Hall of Fame in 1979. After high school, he attended Saint Joseph's College with his mother's encouragement. This adventure/drama/fantasy movie stomped out the competition by earning $28 million, soaring to number one in the box office during its opening weekend, according to the IMDb Charts. Students should print in the Learning Center

By Shanieka Perrier |Staff Writer| I think using the Learning Center to print papers is better than using the Pfau Library, Jack Brown Hall and SMSU’s Cross Cultural Center. The advantage is it is cheaper to print there than anywhere else on campus. I used to think that the Learning Center should go paperless. When I went to find out why they haven’t, I discovered it’s cheaper not to go paperless. Surprising, right? It’s better for them to use a paper system and not the card-swiping machines because using the machines is costly. Printing was once 10 cents per page everywhere. Jack Brown Hall Evacuated

Jack Brown Hall is evacuated as police enter after reports of a gunshot inside the building at approximately 5:30 pm today. Hundreds of students were stranded outside of the building waiting for class as several CSU police officers searched the building in search of a gunman. After 30-45 minutes of waiting, no gunshot had been confirmed and students were allowed to re-enter the building. According to Officer L. Fields of the CSU Police Force, a noise that may have sounded like a gunshot was heard inside and outside of the building; however, no gunshot was confirmed and it is safe to re-enter the building. Cordie Natasha Zahra, a 21-year-old honors nursing student from Colton, was being treated at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton for injuries to her femur suffered when she fell from the third-floor bridge on the east side of Jack Brown Hall at approximately 8 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 27.
