AI Cody Coyote soon to appear on smartphones
Personalized chatbots on a new myCoyote app will provide automated answers regarding general campus information, advising, financial aid, and more. In approximately two years, AI Cody, through a smartphone app, will remind students what classes they have that day, as well as inform students of events and activities on campus based on their interests. “It knows you personally, what are your interests, what is your major, what deadlines are coming up, it will tell you everything,” explained Vice President and Chief Information Officer, Dr. Sam Sudhakar. E-mails notifying the campus community about the revamped program were sent out before the launch. “The university has begun the process of planning for a complete redesign of the csusb.edu website. Campus wireless needs improvement
By Ariana Cano |Staff Writer| CSUSB students should not have to deal with a faulty Internet connection because it is an essential asset and resource tool necessary to everyone in this day and age. There should be minimal interference and inconsistency when connecting to the Internet. Recently, there has been a dramatic increase in internet use as students are required to access academic sites such as Blackboard, MyCoyote, and EBSCOhost. I have never had any problems connecting to the internet on campus until the beginning of the Fall quarter.
