Six out of eighteen propositions to vote for

By Erika Aguilar  |Staff Writer| Six out of eighteen California propositions are due to affect the community, students, and schools near San Bernardino in the upcoming November election. Proposition (Prop.) 51 relates to providing bonds for schools. It would allow California to borrow $9 billion in bonds and thus the money would go to K-12 public schools and community colleges for improvement in overall education, according to BALLOTPEDIA. Social justice warriors not all bad

Cue the social justice warriors (SJW), those passionate social issue advocates who start blogs, webpages and petitions to persistently "enlighten" people who either do not care or do not know about certain social issues like feminism or abortion. CFA vs CSU still in labor negotiations

By Alexis Figueroa |News Staff| The California Faculty Association reportedly walked out on negotiations on May 7 without giving a counterproposal, because the California State University’s offer did not meet the CFA’s standards. With the CSU system not meeting the CFA’s demands; they are not backing down. The CFA has been going through negotiations and hope to come to an agreement that guarantees improved treatment by the CSU administration and improved job security.
