by Robin Alcantara  |Staff Writer| The White House released a statement on Wednesday, Oct. 29 reaffirming the strength of the relationship between the United States and Israel. “The United States is as committed as it has ever been to the security of Israel,” said United States Press Secretary Josh Earnest in his daily press briefing. His statement comes as a response to recent reports by CNN and other news reports questioning the relationship between the U.S. and Israel. CNN reported U.S. officials “snubbed” Israeli Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon by denying him meetings during his visit to the U.S. Ya’alon reportedly arrived in the U.S with the intention of meeting with … [Read more...] about U.S. and Israel communication strained

War with Iran would be worse than a blunder

March 18, 2012 by Archived posts 2 Comments

By Kimberly "Charlie" Treloar | Staff Writer| I am against the U.S. going to war with Iran and you should be too. Just when we thought the troops were coming home and we could finally catch our breath, it appears that the U.S. may be going to war. At what point did we become the world’s policeman? Who put us in charge of running the world and controlling everyone in it? According to a CBS News poll, “a majority of Americans - 55 percent - say the threat posed by Iran, which has been developing a nuclear capability, can be contained by diplomacy, 15 percent say the situation requires the United States to take military action now. “Republicans are more than twice as likely as … [Read more...] about War with Iran would be worse than a blunder
