Today, our agenda was tagging along with the evening crew to a local site to capture a segment with an anchor named Matt who was set to go live at 5 p.m. The segment in which he had planned on capturing today will probably not be released until Thursday, June 27. Thursdays are typically the days they release the segments that take place at other locations. These small segments are ones that sometimes do not show the faces of the anchors. Building your résumé over the summer
By Estefania Torres |Asst. A&E Editor| Summer is a time when students are looking forward to fun vacations, cool vibes and no school. Not many students take into consideration that this may be the perfect time to start being productive and begin building a résumé. By this I mean, if one is going to be spending about three months sitting around, watching television and doing nothing, might as well do something productive that will help in the long term. An internship is always a great start in constructing your future résumé; the résumé that will be presented to … [Read more...] about Building your résumé over the summer

All of last spring quarter I researched internships that would fit perfectly in my career path. I browsed through internqueen.com and anything Google could offer me. I wanted the opportunity to “test drive” a career (Would I be happier in public relations or marketing?). I took the initiative and interviewed with many potential Entertainment PR firms in Los Angeles. Nothing looked promising as many … [Read more...] about A coyote’s pathway to sucess
