The Good Side of Escape: PSYCHO CIRCUS
By Abel Arriola |Staff Writer| It was 3:30 p.m. as I started seeing the NOS event center workers leading us to the parking lot; I couldn't hold in the excitement, I was dying to park my car and get to the entrance. Thousands of people flooded the streets as I ran towards the opening. While many people were out trick-or-treating, attending costume parties and enjoying Halloween on a Saturday night, I had the chance to be a part of Escape: Psycho Circus. Once inside, I could already hear engaging, booming sounds coming from one of the first acts, which was Brillz. He immediately set the tone for the night when he brought out … [Read more...] about RARE Socal Coverage

Crush is an annual electronic dance music event presented by Insomniac, the organization that gained popularity over the past few years because of its world-famous Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC). The event took place at San Bernardino's National Orange Show (NOS) Events Center and I showed up just as the last few rays of sunlight made the sky glow and set the mood for the Valentine's night. The event began at 6 p.m. and, as I spoke to numerous people waiting to … [Read more...] about Feel the loving embrace of Crush
Festivals season approaches
By Alejandro Cardenas |Staff Writer| With big events coming in the near future, it’s time for Coyotes to get into the music mood. Coachella, Stagecoach, Beyond Wonderland, Crush, and Epicenter are happening at local Southern California venues. Music festivals like these are the perfect place for students to unwind from the building stress of schoolwork and essays. “I go to festivals for the experience and the positive vibes,” said Ayde Rico. There’s nothing quite like meeting up with your friends, dressing up in your favorite festival gear and dancing the night away to the music of your favorite artists alongside thousands of other fans who are there for the love of music.” The … [Read more...] about Festivals season approaches
