Yucaipas Big Fall Trail Closed

By Erika Aguilar |Staff Writer| Yucaipas Big Falls Trail will continue to remain closed another year due to the amount of accidents reported. Big Falls trail leads to Southern California's highest falls. The San Bernardino National forest officials are now working on creating an effective plan to address those injuries and problems such as graffiti. "They should educate people about the risks of hiking the trail before closing it," said student Gary Ridge. Tis the season to hike

Richard Burrud |Staff Writer| CSUSB Rec Center will be hosting the Snowshoe hike will be Dec. 20 from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. and a Hollywood sign and Griffith Observatory hike on Jan. 18 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Come enjoy the serene beauty of San Jacinto Mountains through snowshoeing. This rewarding hike offers spectacular views of nature and wildlife. Participants will depart from campus at 8 a.m. and drive up to a winter wonderland. Once there, members will board the Palm Springs tram and head up to the top of the San Jacinto Mountain.
