Caution too much caffeine is not a good thing

By Marlyn Rodriguez |Staff Writer| Nine out of 10 adults in North America consume some form of caffeine on a daily basis. We are too dependent on caffeine and it is not as beneficial to us as we think. According to the Mayo Clinic, taking in 200 to 300 milligrams of caffeine equivalent to about two to four cups of coffee a day is not harmful. Christine Weinkauff, a psychology professor on campus, is an avid coffee drinker but said, “In life, moderation is key. CSUSB celebrates Annual Transfer Day

By Luz Hernandez |Staff Writer| Community College students looking to transfer to CSUSB were encouraged to become Coyotes during the university's annual Transfer Day Saturday Feb. 23. The event was put on by the university to encourage those students who are currently attending a community college and interested in transferring to CSUSB to get information regarding the programs and services offered here at the university. Some of the programs that students were able to inquire about included, but were not limited to:housing, financial aid, EOP, clubs and organizations.
