Some student-athletes lose track of the important things in life but not the starting point guard of the Coyotes women's basketball team, senior, Briana Baker. The 21-year-old was born in Compton, California and was raised in Rancho Cucamonga. She grew up with a passion for basketball and eventually went on to play varsity at Rancho Cucamonga High School. BSU tops off Black History Month with some hip-hop lovin’
By Mike Sessions |Staff Writer| Hip hop has contributed to the world as one of the most unique music cultures since the 1970’s. CSUSB’s Black Student Union recently hosted the annual My Love For Hip-Hop show, a part of their Black History Month set of events. The host of the event, Eddie Hewitt, recapped, “My Love For Hip-Hop is an event that celebrates hip hop history and its impact on culture.
