The meaning behind a tattoo can range from something near and dear, or something as simple as an impulse. Many people feel their tattoos represent their background and life as a whole. Its almost as if their identity is naked without having the ink on their public image. Ink is permanent, but it is no longer as big of a taboo in society as it once was. When Max Levy had a metal plate inserted in his chest to assist his battle against hemophilia, he quickly realized, "I'm Iron Man!," according to an article on nbc.news.com. Marvel writers got wind of the story when #IronMax appeared on social media. Known for their granite cliffs, waterfalls, hiking trails, and its biological diversity Yosemite covers an area of over 700,000 acres with a visitation of over 3 million people each year. There are various activities Yosemite offers year round that attract many visitors such as the availability for people to hike and take easy strolls. CSUSB sanitizes campus from cigarette butts
Angela Rodriguez |Staff Writer| According to Victorian Litter Action Alliance, an estimated 4.5 trillion cigarette butts are littered worldwide every year. Since our government legislation in the mid-2000s implemented smoking restrictions in public buildings and restaurants, the issue of cigarette butt litter has increased. CSUSB students can help reduce cigarette butts and other tobacco-related waste by joining TerraCycle Inc.’s Cigarette Waste Brigade, a free program dedicated to reducing litter. Upon participating in the program, for every pound of cigarette butts CSUSB collects, a dollar will be donated to Keep America Beautiful. Annie Buckley’s art amazes

One that shines in particular is CSUSB's very own Annie Buckley, an assistant professor of visual studies. Buckley's work is known for hitting the personal nerves of her audience as she addresses the ideas of consciousness and connectivity.
