It is a result of the owner Manal Iskander being a former Cal State San Bernardino student and wanting to show her support. It is located on 163 W Highland Ave San Bernardino, CA 92405 and has been voted best sub in the Inland Empire for three years in a row. By Christina Raney |Staff writer| Saverino’s Italian Deli & Market, located just outside of historic Downtown Redlands, is the place to go for good and reasonably priced Italian food in the Inland Empire.   Saverino’s offers a variety of dishes that include: cold and hot sandwiches, pasta dishes, salads, soups, and desserts. You can also purchase different kinds of meat by the pound in the deli.   Their cold sandwiches have unique names to them, like “Godfather,” “Wise Guy” and “Raging Bull.”   They even have a sandwich named after the City of Redlands and the restaurant itself.
