Coyote baseball hunting for deep playoff run this season
By Spencer Hirsch |Staff Writer| Coyote baseball is looking to put last year’s disappointments behind them as they embark on a new season. Their 20-18 record was not quite good enough, as they missed out on the conference playoff tournament by just a few winning percentage points. "It's always very disappointing when you do not make the playoffs, because once you get into the playoffs, anything can happen," said head coach Don Parnell. Junior center fielder Ethan Chapman feels they should have had a much stronger finish to the season. "We didn't live up to our expectations. We had a lot of talent, just didn't put it together," said Chapman. Parnell has high goals and one big … [Read more...] about Coyote baseball hunting for deep playoff run this season
