For the panel event, "The Syrian War and U.S. Role in the Region," two guest speakers engaged in an insightful discussion, speaking with information gathered from individual research, experience, and concluded with a Q&A session with the audience. The life of a student would be exciting if they were granted the powers of their favorite comic book hero. Despite American intervention, Syria remains at war
By Essence Dennis |Staff Writer| Lifeless bodies strewn across the street, the scent of gun powder sits strong in the air, civilians are the enemy. This is the scene in Syria, with the death toll estimated to be around 140,000 people and children counting for 7,000 of that toll.
