It can be difficult for many students to grasp how valuable clubs or organizations are and the connections they provide. Criminal Justice Club on campus gets members motivated about possible careers
By Adrian Carlos |Staff Writer| Shots being fired and stress levels rising, sirens screaming, walking into a bullet-eaten house or maybe cautiously escorting an inmate to court. These are just a few of the things the Criminal Justice Club (CJC) members may experience in their future careers. The club is a resourceful, hands-on group of students who are involved with community service on campus and throughout the Inland Empire. Religion on campus: something to praise
By Steven Avila |Staff Writer| Few things rile people up like religion. But that’s no reason to keep it off our campus. While there doesn’t appear to be any opposition at the moment, it can turn a lot of heads. Granted religion should be kept separate from some things, like politics (separation of church and state) but it doesn’t need to be demonized and excluded from what’s supposed to be a place of diversity, culture and education.
