Kimberlyn Cruz, restaurant server, talks about her family-owned restaurant, where all the food is cooked by her mother with a homemade style. “First it started with my family and I, then we later grew causing us to get a little bit more help with family members outside the inner group,” said Kimberlyn. Coyotes vs. Food competition
By Kim Dailey |Staff Writer| ASI hosted their third annual Coyote vs. Food competition May 10 in the Santos Manuel Student Union lobby. Students gathered around the table, some waiting to participate and others just waiting to watch. After signing a liability waiver, participants partook in three different rounds of competitive eating. In round one, students had to eat a foot-long “garbage” burrito weighing up to 5 pounds, in 30 minutes or less. There were eleven competitors, 10 men and one woman.
