The incident occurred on the sidewalk of Northpark Boulevard at approximately 9:35 a.m. The suspect, a male black adult between 17-20 years of age, grabbed the student’s backpack and revealed a black handgun, according to CSUSB University Police. “The suspect demanded her property. She gave him her backpack and cellphone,” stated university police in the timely warning notice. CSUSB pitcher Cory Caruso looks to get drafted by MLB team
By Amy Cutillo |Staff Writer| With the Coyote baseball season over and less than a month left until the MLB Draft, left-handed ace Cory Caruso is waiting to see if he gets the call. Caruso, who is a senior, was drafted last year by the Florida [now Miami] Marlins, but with good reason he decided to turn down the offer. “I didn’t sign because I thought I needed to improve, and I wanted to come back even better this year,” said Caruso. Looks like his hard work is paying off. Recently, he met up with the Marlins, and they are still very interested in him. “I’d like to sign with the Marlins. The Blue Tree Project

CSUSB has teamed up with Greenmeme and Omni Trans for the Blue Tree Project which provides eco-friendly transportation for the growing commuter population and new bus station’s designs. The station’s design will not only impact the way transit riders experience their journey with Omni Trans but their experience with the environment as well. “The blue design came as close to the color of the sky, on a clear day you can hardly see the image of the trees, but on a foggy or rainy day the tree images become visible, like they never left,” said David Rutherford.
