By Cherie Brower |Staff Writer| Faculty salary negotiations remain at an impasse—which may lead to a strike—as the California Faculty Association (CFA) and the California State University (CSU) system stall over 2015-16 and 2016-17 contracts. Scholarly voices in favor of “fair compensation” rise against representatives rallying for reasonable budget expectations, while common footing has yet to be found. Known Facebook security flaw still raises concern
By Jacob Collins |Staff Writer| As of Nov. 14, Facebook has not yet patched a security flaw discovered in 2013, according to security researcher Vivek Bansal. The flaw exploits Facebook’s permissions allowing the user to post on others walls as someone else through apps that should only allow you to access basic profile information.
