The drought is affecting the entire state of California, according to the U.S Drought Monitor. It is the first time in 15 years that there has been a shortage of water with this intensity. California has received an average of four inches of rain from the beginning of the year compared to the average of 20 inches, according to ThinkProgress. ‘Cage-free’ not cutting it, ethical eaters need to change
By Richard Bowie |Editor in Chief| Soon, when you bite down into your Double Whopper with cheese, you’ll be able to feel comforted by the fact that the animals used to make it got to spend a few fleeting hours outside of the tiny, filthy cages that will still be used across the world to house the 10 billion other animals killed for human consumption each year.
