Here at CSUSB, the Student Recreation and Fitness Center (Rec Center) offers students a chance to get in shape with the aid of a personal trainer. "Stay focused, have fun, but at the end of the day, you have to make the big decisions that will set you up for the future," said Jordan Burris Senior. By Marlyn Rodriguez |Opinions Editor| CSUSB conducted an Active Shooter Preparedness exercise on Thursday, April 10, at 10:30 a.m. in front of University Hall. Although the specific point of attack took place in one building, the exercise was campus wide. Depending on the circumstances, campus police advise students to either evacuate or seek shelter when this type of situation occurs. “A situation like this occurs on university campuses and throughout the community. CSUSB’s Recreational Sports and ASI thrill students with 40,000 pounds of snow
By Kevin Schaefer |Staff Writer| Valentine’s Day may have brought you warm, fuzzy feelings this year, but the commons were filled with nothing but ice and snow. “Snow Day 2013” was presented by Recreational Sports and ASI from 11 a.m.- 5 p.m. in the lower commons. There was 20 tons of snow, ice skating, snowboarding, tandem sled rides, food, music, giveaways and games. Active Ride Shop, Auto Club Speedway and Sizzler were also present.
