Final “Wolverine” Movie is now Rated R, thanks to the success of “Deadpool” Movie.

This will be Hugh Jackman’s last movie as Wolverine and producers probably thought, “Why not go all out?” 

Thanks to “Deadpool,” producers now want to make the movie Rated R.

This could cause directors to change their focus from the younger crowd to adults.

“Wolverine” will be released by 2017 and so far it’s said to be guaranteed the best Wolverine move ever.

Fans petition Grammys to acknowledge Mixtapes

On May 8, fans started a petition, focusing on “Ridiculously talented artists who are releasing free mixtapes and projects that are not getting the recognition they truly deserve…,” according to Change.org.

Examples such as Chance the Rapper’s well-known mixtape “Acid Rap” is an example of talent not appreciated.

The National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences thinks otherwise, stating,”In order for an artist to be eligible for a Grammy nomination their music must be commercially released in general distribution in the U.S.”

The petition needs less than 8,000 people to join for their voice to be heard.

“Space Jam 2” is coming!

After years of rumors “Space Jam 2” is finally being delivered to us and all those waiting for another Looney Tunes movie.

The movie is confirmed for May 2 on IMDb with Lebron James as the main character, replacing Michael Jordan.

J.R. Smith might co-star on the movie with James.

No promises though, deals are still being figured out according to J.R. Smith’s representative, Daniel Hazan.

Drake Isn’t Done Yet

With “Views” being only 3 weeks old, Drake has already been spotted in a picture on Instagram in the studio with French Montana on May 11.

Drake did promise more music for the audience this summer, and possible collaboration with French Montana could be the start.

Look forward to Toronto and the East Coast coming together to make an album to remember.

“Fast 8” in Cuba

A promo from Twitter was shown on the streets of Cuba with Vin Diesel and the director of the Fast and the Furious series F. Gary Gray.

On May 6, a rumor was floating around that the cast and crew were seen working on a drag race scene in behind the scenes footage.

“The upcoming ‘Fast 8’ movie is expected to break blockbuster records like the previous installments,” according to Nica Virtudazo, a reporter for Parent Herald.

“Fast 8” is set for theaters April 17, 2017.

Rihanna’s Scholarship

Rihanna has teamed up with “Clara Lionel Foundation,” and created a global scholarship program.

According to the Clara Lionel Foundation, the program gives financial aid to universities worldwide.

However, according to Anastasia Tsioulcas, Associate Producer of NPR Music, Rihanna’s college scholarship is to be focused on foreign students.

As of May 9, applications are open until June 10, and a limit of 50 students will receive the funds.
