OSAMA BIN LADEN DEAD ANNOUNCES PRESIDENT

Osama Bin Laden has been reported dead in a live announcement by Barack Obama

“Good evening.  Tonight, I can report to the American people and to the world that the United States has conducted an operation that killed Osama bin Laden, the leader of al Qaeda, and a terrorist who’s responsible for the murder of thousands of innocent men, women, and children.” Obama said after stepping up to a podium in the East Room.

Osama was killed in a firefight in a mansion in Abbottabad near Pakistan capital of Islamabad.

Obama had held national security meeitngs for months gathering intellegince on Osama’s whereabouts.

US forces had been gathering outside the mansion tucked away between approximately 18 foot barbed wire walls and strict security.

FInally orders were given last Friday to carry out the operation to capture Osama

Obama had ordered an operation for US forces to raid the mansion to capture him.

US Navy Seals carried out the mission engaing in a firefight killing Osama.

Obama reported care was taken to avoid civiian deaths however 2 couriers, 1 women and one of Osama’s sons was also killed in the operation

US forces are currently in custody of the body where they have performed DNA tests to confirm Osama’s identity.

News agencies and cable news networks were anxious in the moments up to Obamas appearance with cameras trained on the White house and the podium waiting for Obama to speak.

Chants ouf “USA! USA!” and the national anthem were heard as throngs of people stood outside the whitehouse gates cheering and waving Americna flags.

In the wake of the announcement the US State Department also put embassies on alert for reprisal attacks from Al Qaeda according to the Associated Press.

Wolf Blitzer had also expressed concerns over possible actions from Al Qaeda and other Osama sympathizers.
