Student were asked to share their comments on the recent Coca Cola advertisement featuring America as a melting pot of cultures and languages. They were also asked to share their reactions to the to the feedback that was given from society on social media outlets.

“I believe that people immigrate to our country to become American; that being said, I believe that those who are not born in America should adapt to our culture and widely used language, rather than convert America to their cultures and languages.”

“The commercial inspired me to seek out cultural diversity in my own life.”

Coca-Cola commercial made me feel patriotic, because it showed that we accept different cultures in America. America is a melting pot of cultures not a country made up of one specific race.”
