Community Engagement Expo

The Engagement Expo was a partnership between The Office of Community Engagement and Office of Student Engagement. The Community Engagement table offers flyers and additional support regarding events and resources for commuter students on January 15, 2020, from 11:30 am – 2:30 pm on the Coyote Walkway.

Students stop by booths and learn information about internship positions, volunteer opportunities and on-campus resources.

The Office of Community Engagement allows students to sign-in, get a CSUSB bag and a student passport to stamp when visiting booths.

Staff Damaris and Mia explain to Melissa, 4th criminal justice major, the benefits of getting involved in campus organizations at the Engagement Expo.

Damaris Zepeda, “We offer information on the study engagement, on-campus resources and how we have more than 150 clubs. We also give information on study abroad. Plus you can spin the wheel to win prizes”

Student staff Stephen and Paola explain to students Mileishka and Jonathan the importance of filling out the 2020 census at the Engagement Expo on Wednesday, January 15, 2020, from 11:30 am – 2:30 pm on the Coyote Walkway.

ASI student advocate Stephen Ángeles said, “It is really important to fill out the 2020 Census. It will help determine the future for the next 10 years. It also helps get the right number of representatives in government.”
