Redlands Art Walk

The Redlands Art walk event was held Sunday, Oct. 29, featuring artwork from more than 100 local artists, spotlight galleries, live entertainment and food. This event, is held twice a year and features tents with artwork lined up and down State Street in downtown Redlands. A handful of local business have galleries focusing on local artists, including  Augie’s Coffee, Parliament, Ozel Jewlers, and many more... Attendees rush in for support and experience what these artists are all about. Coffee roasters now work alongside farmers to create a great product from the plant to the cup. Coffee seeds are not actually beans like most of society thinks they are. The seed is actually the pit of a cherry on a coffee plant. When a cherry becomes a bright, deep red color, it is picked. Once the coffee seed has been picked, the processing must begin as quickly as possible, to prevent the fruit from spoiling. Famers processing the seed out of the cherry do it two ways: either a dry method, which is the oldest way, or the wet method. Inferno doesn’t disappoint readers or viewers

By Spencer Reifel |Staff Writer| Academy Award winner, Ron Howard, returns to direct Dan Brown's newest book, "Inferno." "Inferno" was released Oct. 28 and has brought in over 150 billion dollars. Brown's previous work 'The Da Vinci Code" and "Angels and Demons," writes novels that mix history with bits of mystery. Brown uses historical pieces and different art work as clues to his treasure hunt. "Inferno," did not disappoint, the director of the movie follows the book's detail very well, from the opening scenes of the hospital, to the final scenes in the symphony. This young Canadian, now a father of two, has come a long way from being on his dad's fishing boat and performing at small bars in New York City and Vancouver.
