Dust off your Atari’s and CD players because we are going back in time. We actually will not be traveling to the past but some of our favorite items have become apart of today's society. Polaroid cameras: In 1950s, the polaroid camera became popular. In today's culture there are all kinds of cameras that produce polaroids. You can buy Polaroid cameras for $50-$100 Jelly shoes: You can find them at almost any trendy store that keeps up with popular styles.  How do essential oils work? They are great alternatives and can be used for holistic medicine, aromatherapy, personal care and as household cleaning products. Essential oils are affordable concentrated extractions from different plants including the flowers, leaves, bark, roots and peels. If you are looking for a medical holistic approach to help with a cold or to boost your immune system, look into oregano, ginger, lemon, eucalyptus, frankincense or peppermint (Mentha piperita).  As for aromatherapy, lavender, chamomile, orange and rose works great for sleeping, relaxing and relieving stress. CSUSB Takes Back The Night

By Antonette Calvillo and Sophia Montes CSUSB students, faculty, and local community members united to 'Take Back The Night' in support of Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM). Take Back the Night was presented by VOICE Peers, SMSU Women’s Resource Center and CSUSB Counseling and Psychological services on April 25. Take Back The Night consisted of a resource fair, rally, march and several guest speakers. According to the U.S. Drought Monitor, the consistent rain has almost eliminated California drought conditions, with over 67 percent of the state free of any level of dryness. New sbX Saturday Service

As of Jan. 12, OmniTrans sbX bus riders can commute quickly on Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.   OmniTrans is a suitable eco-friendly quick fix for getting to destinations because of its fast, pleasant and low-cost option to avoid traffic.   The economic bus gets passengers where they need to be in a safe manner. The Federal Transit Administration has gone as far as extending the road on an existing highway specifically for buses.
