TeamWork Online held their third annual networking event at Dodger Stadium Wednesday May 9, 2018 for professionals who seek to get hired into the sports industry. The event included sporting executives from several Los Angeles teams and stadiums. There were over 12 representatives from the LA Sparks, LA Kings, LA Lakers, LA Chargers, Rams and Dodgers. All the executives gave a quick 30-second intro and explained who they worked for, followed by a fun fact about themselves. Redemption for LA baseball

California natives are hungry for a World Series after the Los Angeles Dodgers lost the World Series to the Houston Astros in the 2017 season. The Anaheim Angels, San Diego Padres and Los Angeles Dodgers are ready to play ball this 2018 Major League Baseball season. The Los Angeles Dodgers brought LA to their feet when they made it to the World Series by defeating the Houston Astros. The golden state is hungry to get a World Series back to LA, with these two Southern California teams hoping to make to the big show. Italy is where a vino and carb diet is a must. Touching down in Venice, Florence, and Rome showcased the vibrant colors of the Italian culture. In Italy, everything is at walking distance which is a workout in it's self. The streets of Italy are filled with people from all parts of the world. Everyone is dressed to impress with gelato in hand, most of the time. Eating pasta and drinking wine seems to be on everyone's agenda. Venice is a place where the color jumps off the wall. When in Venice, a gondola ride is a must  for a true tourist experience. A ride on the gondola will cost about eighty euros and last about thirty minutes. Finding motivation to workout at times can be hard for anyone, whether the motive is to be healthier or to enhance one’s performance in sports. Body goals and an upbeat playlist can help one get out of bed and into workout mode. Everyone has different reasons why they are motivated to continue a set of reps. “The fact that I play baseball is my main motivation," said Ricardo Rodriguez a player for the Pericios de Puebla, a baseball organization in the Mexican league. US sports go overseas

U.S. sports are going overseas and demonstrating their ability to grow a new, international fan base. While the National Football League (NFL), Major League Baseball (MLB) and the National Basketball Association (NBA) keep their fans happy in the states, they have done that overseas as well. Creating a bigger fan base overseas can create more revenue for the teams and the organization. NFL teams went overseas for a total of four games that were played internationally this season and have played 20+ international games since 2005. Houston Astros TAKE 17, become World Series Champions

The Houston Astros TAKE 17 winning their first World Series in franchise history. After 56 years, the wait is over for the Astros as they have defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers in a wild seven-game Fall Classic. Clayton Kershaw was the starting pitcher for the Dodgers in game one and Dallas Keuchel started for the Astros. With two outs in the bottom of the sixth Justin Turner hit a two-run home run, giving the Dodgers a 3-1 lead and the win. Rich Hill of the Dodgers and Justin Verlander of the Astros started game two, which went eleven innings. Dodgers rise, fall and revival

The Los Angeles Dodgers' roller coaster of a regular season ends as they enter the playoffs with over 100 wins, clinching the National League West Divison (NL West) title for the fifth consecutive year. The Dodgers were not the only team in Major League Baseball (MLB) with over 100 wins. Alongside them was the Houston Astros and Cleveland Indians. The Dodgers went from holding a high winning record to holding the longest losing streak in Dodgers history over the course of the season. This season, fans saw the Dodgers rise with the most wins thus far and fall with a 16-game losing streak.
