Don was prepared, having saved for the possibility of being unable to work, but the Robertson's knew that not everyone could say the same. How two fires affected my last ever day of school
I woke up on Dec. 5, not having slept much due to the high wind levels throughout the majority of Southern California. I rolled around in bed, feeling annoyed that I had to drive to school in just a few hours to attend a final mandatory class meeting. I knew right away that this was going to be a rough day as I drove from Rancho Cucamonga to San Bernardino. In the time it took me to get from Rancho to Fontana, I had already seen three big rigs on their sides, one nearly falling off the freeway. Once I got to San Bernardino I was able to add one more truck to the list, after seeing countless others lined up on the shoulder of the freeway to prevent further damage. By the end of the … [Read more...] about How two fires affected my last ever day of school

Local homeowners, like Dr. Death, aka Mr. Chavez, dress their front yards to the nines to give trick-or-treaters the Scary Farm or Horror Nights experience close to home. Chavez decorates his home using lights, backdrops and handmade animatronics to give the most authentic Halloween experience.
