By Angel Martinez Morales A free drive-thru testing for COVID-19 was held by the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center to provide San Bernardino County residents more testing opportunities. The three-day drive-thru testing took place last week from Tuesday, April 14, to Thursday, April 16. More drive-thru testings were offered this week from Monday, April 20, to Wednesday, April 22, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The center accepted appointments and “drive-in” while supplies lasted on a first-come, first-serve basis. The Children’s Center has been supporting students and families within the community and university by providing quality care based on research, knowledge, and developmentally appropriate practices. Director of CSUSB's Early Childhood Education Programs, Deanna Brown, has been the director for the Infant Toddler Lab School for 10 ½ years as well as direct the Children’s Center for 3 ½ years. The Engagement Expo was a partnership between The Office of Community Engagement and Office of Student Engagement. The Community Engagement table offers flyers and additional support regarding events and resources for commuter students on January 15, 2020, from 11:30 am - 2:30 pm on the Coyote Walkway. Photos by Citlaly Carlos and Daniel Escamilla The fifth annual Japan Day was hosted by the American X Japanese Cross-Cultural Club on November 13, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Student Union’s Events Center. The celebration featured many Japanese-related activities and booths. Japan Day also closed with the Japanese Gala event that featured Shinkendo, Aikido demonstration, and Annual Anime Cosplay Show. Information on the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) program was provided on Japan Day by Grant Minagawa and Julian Ely. Undocumented Student Success Center celebrates their 4th year
First opened on November 5, 2015, the Undocumented Student Success Center celebrated its 4th year anniversary on November 5 through an open house: "See Beyond the Dream." "Every year is a big celebration, but we decided to make it a small gathering this year," USSC advisor, Maria Corona stated. Attendees sign-in area for the open house event.
